“We’ve built so much together — now let’s build the future we deserve.”

MEMBER ADVOCACY

Your Rights. Your Voice. Our Strength.

Every member deserves fairness, respect, and a voice in decisions that shape their working lives. I am committed to defending our collective agreements, challenging unfair workplace practices, and ensuring members' concerns are heard and acted upon.

BARGAINING & READINESS

Building our future, together.

Effective bargaining begins long before negotiations reach the table. My priority is preparing all 12 bargaining units with the knowledge, resources, and collective strength to navigate challenges, protect members' interests, and advance fair working conditions.

LEADERSHIP & INNOVATION

Experience to Lead. Courage to Challenge.

As workplace expectations evolve and technologies like artificial intelligence reshape public service, members deserve meaningful consultation and strong protections. I bring decades of experience, established relationships, and a collaborative approach to navigating change while standing firm on our rights.

CHALLENGES WE FACE

1. PROTECTING FLEXIBLE & REMOTE WORK
Members deserve fair, flexible work arrangements that respect their rights and collective agreements.
2. RESPONSIBLE INTRODUCTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
New technologies must be introduced with meaningful consultation, transparency, and safeguards for employees.
3. STRENGTHENING EMPLOYER RELATIONS
Strong representation means holding employers accountable while pursuing fair, constructive solutions.
4. RESOLVING WORKPLACE DISPUTES FAIRLY
Members deserve timely, effective dispute resolution without unnecessary litigation.
5. DEFENDING WORKPLACE RIGHTS
Protecting collective agreements and standing firm against practices that weaken members' rights.
6. ENSURING FAIRNESS THROUGH WORKPLACE CHANGE
Workplace decisions must respect employees' voices, rights, and the need for meaningful consultation.

Powered by Members. Strengthened by Unity.

A strong union is built through the participation, knowledge, and commitment of its members. By empowering activists, strengthening engagement, and bringing people together, we can build an inclusive, resilient AMAPCEO prepared for the future.Together, we’ve strengthened dispute resolution processes, expanded member education, improved governance, and advanced anti-racism, equity, and inclusion. I’m proud that AMAPCEO’s Anti-Racism Action Plan was recognized this year by the Bromley Armstrong Awards — a testament our collective work.— Cynthia Watt, 2026 President Candidate Statement.

Stepping into the President role would be a privilege.

YOUR VOICE AND VOTE MATTER

For more than ten years, I’ve worked alongside AMAPCEO’s President, members, activists, leaders and staff who care deeply about fairness, respect, and strong workplaces. My experience across labour relations, committees, special projects, and member engagement has shaped how I lead — with values, collaboration, and a commitment to building strong, modern public service workplaces.
